Bodo.ai Secures $14M Series A to Simplify, Accelerate, and Scale Data Analytics and Machine Learning

Bodo.ai: With participation from Uncorrelated Ventures, Fusion Fund, and Candou Ventures, Bodo.ai, the platform for extreme-performance parallel computing for data workloads, announced today that it has raised $14 million in Series A funding led by Dell Technologies Capital.

Bodo was established in 2019 with the intention of transforming machine learning and complex data analytics applications by making Python a top-tier, high-performance, and production-ready platform. Customers can solve difficult, large-scale data and machine learning problems with the ease and flexibility of native Python thanks to the company’s cutting-edge compiler technology, which offers exceptional performance and affordability. Bodo offers a supercomputing-like performance with linear parallel scalability that was previously unachievable, as demonstrated by its validation at 10,000+ cores and petabytes of data. For large-scale ETL, Data Prep, Feature Engineering, and AI/ML Model training, Bodo users may achieve a new level of performance and economic efficiency by doing away with the need to use new libraries or APIs or rewrite Python into Scala, C++, Java, or GPU code in order to achieve scalability.

Consumers are aware that the only way to extend Moore’s Law and meet the computational demands of AI and machine learning is through parallel computing. However, only a small number of specialists at major tech firms and government labs have had access to such high-performance computing,” continued Ehsan Totoni, co-founder and CTO of Bodo.ai. Our inferential compiler technology democratizes compute power for all developers and businesses by automating the parallelization that was previously done by performance experts. The large-scale AI, ML, and analytics communities will be significantly impacted by this.

By providing compute performance and runtime efficiency without requiring application rewriting, Bodo closes the gap between simplicity and performance. As a result, hundreds of thousands of data scientists and Python developers will be able to conduct near-real-time analytics and open up new revenue streams for clients.
