The pioneer of vision AI solutions for smart cities, Hayden AI Technologies, Inc. (“Hayden AI”), today announced a new growth equity financing of $90 million. The Rise Fund, TPG’s global impact investing platform’s multi-sector strategy, led the Series C round with assistance from the Drawdown Fund and Autotech Ventures, among other current investors. The company’s research, development, and expansion will all be accelerated by this investment.
The investment comes as Hayden AI has grown its clientele and market share in the $748 billion smart city market both domestically and abroad. Some of the biggest cities and transit agencies in the country, such as the New York Metro, the Washington DC Metro, the Los Angeles Metro, the East Bay’s AC Transit, and others, rely on Hayden AI’s vision AI platform, which uses geospatial data collection sensor systems to provide comprehensive smart city intelligence.
This platform is used to identify and enforce parking and moving violations that hinder road safety and public transportation. The platform from Hayden AI can be installed on almost any kind of vehicle, giving cities a degree of situational awareness and insight to help them make better decisions that will meet their operational and sustainability objectives.
